This policy explains what The Law Offices of Steven J. Glaros & Associates (the “Firm,” “we” or “us”) collects through glaroslaw.com (the “Site”), how we use it, and the choices you have. By using the Site you agree to this policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.
Please do not send Social Security numbers, bank or card numbers, medical records, passwords or other sensitive or confidential information through the Site, a form or an unsecured email. We treat what you send as confidential to the extent our professional rules require, but websites, forms and email are not secure, and we do not represent you until we both sign a written agreement. To reply to you and schedule consultations; to run, secure and improve the Site; to understand how the Site is used; to measure and improve our advertising; and to meet legal and professional obligations.
If you give us your phone number or email address, you agree that the Firm may contact you about your inquiry by phone call, text message or email, including with automated technology. Consent is not a condition of getting legal help. Message and data rates may apply, and message frequency varies. Reply STOP to end texts, or tell us you no longer want calls or email. We do not share your phone number or text-message consent with third parties for their own marketing. If we record a call, we will tell you at the start of the call.
The Site uses Google Tag Manager and Google Analytics to count visits and see how pages are used, and Google Ads tags to measure the results of our advertising and to show our ads to people who have visited the Site. Google reCAPTCHA protects our forms from spam, and Google Fonts loads the Site’s typefaces, which sends your IP address to Google. Google handles that data under Google’s Privacy Policy and Terms.
You can control this: block or delete cookies in your browser; manage Google ads at adssettings.google.com; opt out of Google Analytics at tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout; or use the Digital Advertising Alliance opt-out. Blocking cookies may affect how the Site works. The Site does not currently respond to browser Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control signals.
We share information with service providers that help us run the Site and our practice, such as website hosting and security, email and text delivery, analytics, advertising, translation, and case-management and client-communication tools. They may use the information only to provide those services. We may also share information when the law requires it, to protect rights or safety, or in a sale or restructuring of the Firm. We do not sell your personal information.
We keep form submissions, messages and call notes for as long as we need them to respond to you and as the law requires, and then delete or anonymize them. If you become a client, our professional duties and your engagement agreement govern what we keep.
You may ask to see, correct or delete information we hold about you, and to stop marketing messages. Call 813-854-1234 or use our Contact page. We will respond within 30 days.
We use reasonable safeguards, but no website, form or email is completely secure.
The Site is not intended for children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect their information.
The Site links to outside websites. This policy does not cover them, and we are not responsible for their practices.
